Dept. of CSE, CHRIST (Deemed to be University) Faculty of Engg organized a guest talk tilted ‘Patents to Boost Innovation’ on 16-Feb-16 in the Auditorium, I Block, Kengeri Campus. The invitee speaker was Ms. Bindu Sharmafounder and CEO of Origiin IP Solutions LLP, Bangalore. The students of 4th semester and 6th semester CSE attended the talk from 12:00 to 1:00PM.

Ms. Bindu talked and explained about various opportunities and challenges in Intellectual Properties and patents related to Indian perspective and other countries. She also gave valuable information about patent search, filing patents and associated case studies. At the terminal of the talk, there was a questionnaire session where in students could able to get clarifications on some ambiguities over patents and research.
